Just put down all my stuff walked out. The queue is going through the Health Food section. I went to customers service... very funny... the lady was on the phone arranging a get together and dinner party. I greated her...she told me she was busy! Customer service you say. Nogal a whole kiosk for Customer service. Like I said...very funny

THE MOST PATHETIC DIS-CHEM STORE ALONG THE GARDEN ROUTE! ! ! ! ! ! ! YES I SAID IT! ! ! ! Another WhatsApp order gone wrong... Order placed mid-morning. Got confirmation from store. Phoned late afternoon to find out where order was, only to find out that it will only be delivered in the next two days, and not today as agreed upon. Asked to speak to store manager about this and we could clearly hear him tell this assistant to tell me that he's not in store. Now it's more clear to me why so many customers gave you a 1 star review not that you deserve that one star at all.

Well stocked and great variety. Even though the queue for prescriptions sometimes seems long, it goes quick as most if not all the pharmasists/booths are used.

Terrible service, the store always has a ridiculously long line and too few cashiers. Also no accountability from management

Today I have visited the store as have I several other occasions. I had to do an size exchange on maternity wear, have not worn as I have not given birth. The lady infront by customer service helped me and guided me throughout the whole process even called the CBD branch to enquiry if they had another size for as they only had one for me. She went back with me and we found the correct size just in different packaging and all were sorted. When I went to the till she directed to me- the lady already arranged for a voucher at the till, once given to me she never informed me that I would need to pay in so I never knew. Eventually once I went to the till the lady told me I needed to pay in R130, I was shook! And I've explained to her but I'm only doing a size exchange so I didn't understand. She told me the price changed and asked another lady RE the situation and the lady told me the same thing, so I asked what must I now do but I'm not paying in. She called her manager and while she waited I explained that I wasn't informed about this because now I'm paying double the price and maternity wear is extremely expensive, if I have to pay that price I just as well go and buy a different one for that price. And they understood, the manager explained to me and they have to restart the system and start over and apologized, I wanted to just take the smaller ones and go home bear in mind I'm 35 weeks pregnant and didn't want to make a fuss. Also mentioned if I knew about this in advance I wouldn't have proceeded and not waisted their time.. Eventually the manager and her two staff members given me the size I wanted for the price I originally have bought, I did not expect that because I did understand what they have been explaining to me but I have to say I was very happy for the effort they've putted in to eventually satisfy my expectations and needs. We can't always be pleased but the customer service were exceptional .

I had a rather unpleasant experience at your Garden Route Mall branch this morning. As one customer left the store he gave a numbered token to the person at the door who then administered a puff of spray and immediately called me in and handed it to me. We actually squeezed past each other in the narrow doorway. Two things that I found a bit worrying. Later as I headed to the entrance/exit with my purchases I started rummaging around for the token but it was no where to be found. Probably fell out of my pocket when I pulled out my shopping list. Not wanting to delay the queue outside unnecessarily and feeling confident that your staff were trained for such an eventuality, I expected that a simple apology would suffice. Wrong! The door lady handed me over to the security lady who started ticking me off saying what did I expect them to do now as they were only allowed 50 customers in the store at any given time? Again I apologised, a bit louder this time fearing that my mask had muffled my first attempt. But she was not having any of that and so I just walked off. Apart from the poor customer relations and problem-solving ability, my other concerns are: (1) Using a token in the first place instead of doing what every other store I've been to does viz one person in for every person out. A token, like money, could be a means for transmitting the virus. (2) Using a narrow space for both entrance and exit which is furthermore not properly controlled. Some stores use different doors.
