Very unprofessional and incompetent. Use at your own risk! - They didn't do a site visit before installation - One of the NEW gate motors didn't work initially - They didn't install the motors according to Centurion's specifications. The technician was very very incompetent. - They spent too long installing the gate motors. It seemed as if they - The installation was very shoddy. They left holes in the gates, didn't close cuts in the ground, not all wires were inside conduits, welding looks like it could break anytime, maglocks not fastened with the right number of bolts... The list is endless - After numerous complaints, they couldn't even send out a more senior technician to review the job and validate our complaints - We misplaced the invoice and were told that our warranty is void and they wouldn't fix the relay issue which Centurion warned could lead to a malfunction - instead of trying to generate another invoice for us.

Having used Gido's services 4 times over the past 20 years at some of my properties for electric fencing and gate motors, I decided to use them again for my daughter's property. I contacted them during September and asked for Douglas, as he was the consultant on my last 2 properties. He immediately informed me that they would not be able to accommodate me during September as they were already in the process of getting ready to move to new premises towards the end of September. The soonest they could get to me was towards the end of the first week October. I was happy to proceed on that basis and placed the order for a new electric fence and gate motor. The end of September I was contacted and informed that Gido would not be able to accommodate me during the first week of October as the move had gone haywire due to circumstances beyond their control. A week later I got another call, another delay. This time industrial action. Long story short, the electric fence installation was eventually done the last week of October and the gate motor only yesterday. Fortunately for us, the installation was not a life or death situation. Owning my own business, I know full well how wrong things can go. Will I recommend or use them again? Absolutely! Have just mailed confirmation to replace a garage door motor. Not everyday you deal with a business that has been around for 25 years!
