A great production of Romeo and Juliet

We went to see the current Shakespeare in the Park offering last night - As You Like It - and what a lovely evening. With a modern flair and a young cast, the journey of the young lovers, Rosalind and Orlando, was excellently portrayed. I do profess to reading up a bit about Shakespeare before watching any of his plays. It helps to know what the story is about - especially if you don't speak Shakespeare! "This theatre is named after Bruce and the late Helen Mann who, in consultation with the then Director of Parks, chose this site because of the sheltered, quiet and sylvan area. Since the first production in 1972, a Summer Shakespearean Festival is presented in February every year. " (Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism) Manville is set in St George's Park, which in itself is a great place to visit.
It was a great evening only spoilt by some inconsiderate people smoking ecigarettes and other cigrettes. Well done Four Winds Folk people
