It would be nice to have staff respect that people come to the library looking for a quiet place. They were chitty chatty, laughing and all.

Conveniently placed Library at the Midrand business park , just any form of ID will let you in at the gate. The library is spacious and has various seating areas, however if you want to go and study I suggest you use the study hall. The staff can get noisy yet they are friendly and when I complained they took it down a notch and I moved into the study hall. There is 300mb WiFi to use, dictionaries thesaurus and the works that are for use, toilet in reasonably good condition. If you looking for a space to study in harmony this will do.

Not state of of the art but one can get reading/research/work done, plus there is free City of Joburg wifi (300mb) if you need to use your laptop. The place is a bit small so one needs to come early during those exam periods, otherwise you wont have space to sit.

The staff is amazing! As I walked in,one asked that I was new and quickly assisted me and showed me the different study areas. The study area is small, so definitely advise pple to come early. There are printing and photocopying services as well.
