I would like to say to the staff and nurses especially my doctor and counselor for the treatment that I received from your institution 5 star all the way to the hospital manager for always going the extra mile in making sure your patients are taken care of and thanks for our Friday braai we felt we were at home and during our braai time we were always under supervision by our medical staff as well as security I only had one issue and that was the quality of the water wich we drank I would highly recommend you look into having the drinking water changed apart from that big ups to beethoven you made a difference in my life when I had lost all hope and highly recommend your treatment program and hospitality

Harmed Patient

I would never go back to this hospital even if you paid me. The Psychiatrists push pills at you and they dont warn you of the damage the pills can do when you take them or stop taking them. Psychiatric medications are dangerous and can result in you being very sick when you take them or stop taking them. More sick than you were before ever taking these medications. Some patients I was with there started hallucinating because of the meds, some cant stop taking the meds now because they get very ill. We were never told of the dangers. Watch the Medicating Normal Film. Read The Anatomy of an Epidemic. The neurotransmitters in the brain get changed by the meds and its such a big change that can last for a long time and the withdrawals from these meds are horrendous! Blurry vision, brainzaps, suicide ideation, insomnia, hallucinations and many more.... Surviving Antidepressants and benzo buddies are full of people suffering from coming off these meds. Please, do your homework on the harms of psych meds... I cant stress this enough.

Had such a fantastic stay. I have learned so much e.g. how to live a more productive and successful life. The staff there really make you feel like you are part of a family, that you are cared for. This creates a safe environment and really assists with the recovery process.The psychiatric treatment is wonderful and the professionals really want you to improve your life and to get the best tools and coping skills. I would recommend Beethoven Recovery Centre to anyone!

Worst place every, not only did my sister not get help, but the had braais and parties every weekend and knowing she's an addict and highly medicated at night allowed her to run. R2000 account at the tucks hop and then had the audacity to sue her for the money .Dont recommend it at all they medicate you to such an extent to get rid of the problem instead of counseling to find root of problem..

Safe environment to get clean. That is it. The service is total nonsense. They do not take care of their patients when it comes to emergencies and health. The pyscatrist has an attitude and refuses to help where it is needed. Physcologyst are friendly though. All the nurses are lazy and have this horrible attitude. Half the time they do not know what they are doing. They call you to take you to the doctor or pyscatrist as they are ready to see you and you end up in a que for an hour. They charge way too much and their website is misleading. There is no gormet chef the food is tough and hospital like. Mush mash. Still can't get over the bad service and attitude of the nurses!!! I caught a virus and was so sick they did not tend to me so I had to leave.
