One of the best places to do a parkrun. The course is a bit confusing with the many loops but it is quite a flat and easy course. The park where it takes place feels safe and you'll feel close to nature... especially when the local impala decodes to join you on your walk. It's always nice to do a parkrun then pop over to the windmill for some well deserved waffles.

Springbok came to visit. It's a flat parkrun but with many changing views, first of the mountains then of the dam, a section along the fence where you can spot impala and zebra close by and back onto road, and pathways all within the Schoemansville resort all thanks to a skilful course designer you don’t get bored. The course is well marked out but at key points there is a Marshall to give guidance. There is plenty of parking with a short walk to the start, where you may even be greeted by a Springbok, of the antelope kind - right at the volunteer table. There are also a number of bunnies running around. The animals are chilled but remain wild, so best be careful, especially with young kids who will show great enthusiasm to engage with them. No dogs allowed due to the animals. There are toilet facilities near the start and also along the route. Event 130 had 158 runners and it was spring day so a number of runners were dressed for the occassion. Oh ! Starting time is at 7am from 6 October for the summer months (Oct-Mar). This parkrun makes for a great family outing. Thanks to the group of enthusiastic volunteers who also provide drinking water.

A very well maintained and organized parkrun. Friendly volunteers, well labeled route and interesting circuit. You wind in and out of the bush, running between buck and sheep. Its one of the interesting and fun runs iv done. Not overcrowded. 10/10

Lovely park run. It consists of several loops doubling back on each other. Ther is some game in the park which gives it a unique feel.

Stunning venue and well organised. Great to run between the wild and in the dirt road route.
