Nothing will beat Kruger. To any South African. You should visit. Now when there aren't any foreigners. We need to support local and help keep these places open. Its not busy so it's the perfect time to go. If you've been here when its busy you'll know how many thousands of people can be here. Its much more enjoyable. Its busy but you have your own space. The sightings are just amazing. Lots to do in there also. Skukuza has restaurants and shops. Lots of gates to enter in and use your own vehicle for day drives or hire one or get a company to take you with a ranger and view. If you enjoy animals and predators. Focus on lower part of reserve. If you like nature views and birds. Head up to the north. However animals are always moving. So you should definitely tour all over. You'll never know what you're going to see. Id strongly suggest driving slowly and looking carefully because you'll be shocked what you might miss. In one day I saw 6 different leopards. The next morning drive saw the big 5. The entrance has nice statues to take pics and it's quite cheap to enter the gate. Considering how big Kruger Park is and what you can see. In one drive I saw the big 5. Birds I've never seen before. It's just amazing. I'd definitely recommend to anyone not just animal lovers but for viewings of nature and even if you're staying in Kruger. The stars, where there's low light and no moon. Clear skies. You'll see stars and constellations with some nebulas. It's amazing. I've been here like 6 times now and the sightings always amaze me. I have attached allot of pictures of animals and some of the stars and view points. Some bugs here and there. Even a chameleon. Leave a like and comment if you would visit

We entered the Krugerpark as day visitors 5 days in a row at this gate, every time smooth friendly service. We were also extremely blessed with the sightings on this road. Lion 3 times, wild dogs twice, eliphant several times, buffalo several times and even the very shy leopard once. Obviously zebra, impala, giraffe and other game species in abundance.
Checking through is quick & efficient. Great pitty they do not have drive through checking in option, like Crocodile Bridge. Easter checking in must be a great challenge at this gate, much frustration.
Smooth, seamless exit from Kruger National Park. Staff very professional
They need to implement a more efficient system when dealing with the influx of people coming to the park on long weekends. Waiting in a queue for more than an hour to get in can become quite frustrating
Planning to visit Kruger National Park? I recommend this gate. It is very conveniently close to many lodges and just a short walk from Protea Hotel and Sabi Lodge. Fast and friendly service, we absolutely enjoyed the experience.
Gate officials are effecient and friendly. Drawback is the frequent toy toying on this road by local population complaining about poor service delivery by local government. Roads are blocked, tires burned, sometimes cars are stoned exposing tourists to danger and harm. Best to enquire before hand to ensure it is safe using this entrance.
