This valley is beautiful, but it gets very hot. A swim in the dam is essential. Cool for mountain biking. Our accommodation in the chalet was nice but could have used some more pots and pans. The stoep is great for morning coffee.

Fleckvieh is an amazing getaway! It's far enough from Cape Town to be able to unwind and really relax but close enough that it's perfect for a weekend getaway. We stayed in bosbok cabin and it was absolutely amazing! Looking forward to going back again!

If you are looking for a quite farmstyle weekend, then this is the place for you. You are surrounded by awesome views and farm animals. The rooms are basic, but well equipped in terms of your self-catering needs. You are bound to have a friendly reception and a good stay. Ideal for mountain bikers, trail runners and day hikers alike. Close proximity to Grootvadersbosch nature reserve which is a must see!
