We visited both offices in the town The first by the harbour was bad the staff showed little interest in what we were looking for (hiking trails) and were not at all customer focussed The second office was marginally better but again there seemed a air of nonchalance. The staff need more training in customer service and I suggest they get out into the region to experience some of the things visitors want to do Disappointed and expected better in this major tourist town

Such a great place with very friendly and helpful staff. They are knowledgeable and passionate about the area which makes planning the perfect retreat without any problems. Whether it is a wine tasting or accommodation right through to canopy tours the staff will find it for you. Visit the Hemel and Aarde valley and wine route. Also some beautiful and private accommodation options on some of the farms.
