Beautiful restaurant surrounded by greenery, and attached to a nursery. The food is impeccable and it has a lovely relaxed outdoor vibe. Roaring fires on chilly days. Definitely kid friendly.

Great idea and concept. Family friendly. Great food- the truffle burger was amazing. Games and play area for kids, antique store and nusery for the older folks. Rustic setting, safe and enough parking. I great day out.

Amazing place indeed... kids friendly and very accommodating for families with children and even with no children... can they only allow us to have tap water! ... i had to go with a glass to the toilet for tap water because they only sell sparkling water which my children don't take

Such a lovely find! In verdant surroundings of the Hillcrest hills, we found this gem of a cafe. The area is set in a nursery and is open, bright and airy. Huge kids play areas for big and small kids. Couches if you want to relax and have a cuppa tea and large tables if you with friends. The menu is varied and fresh. I had the fish cakes with fennel salad which was delicious. We ended up staying longer than planned as the kids didn’t want to go home. Coffee was good company while the kids played. wheelchair friendly.

This gem is perfect for families with young kids. Lots of play areas and a nice pond to keep them fully occupied. The food and service is excellent and its an ideal venue for a large group to spend a lazy afternoon.

My kids love this place and you know when you have kids, they're often the deciders of places to visit. Your kids will spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment, with the numerous interactive play areas available to them, there's even a little section for your bidding bakers, where under adult supervision, they are given pre-mixed cookie dough to mould and shape, it is baked for them ,they then can dollops of icing and sprinkles to decorate their cookies. I'm huge fan of virgin cocktails and I absolutely lovely their virgin strawberry daiquiri I legit believe it tastes better than the alcoholic version!! I've been disappointed by their meals, we ordered salad ,it was grainy, the lettuce had sand, we couldn't finish our meal, I've had nachos on two separate occasions, they were an epic fail. They have a kid friendly menu but we often end up just ordering fries ...the techniqued antique furniture is a firm favourite for me and the general countryside feel of the place makes up for their not so tasty meals, yes I said that! Do pay them a visit and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Oh I must also mention the yummy cakes for those with a sweet tooth like me! Their cakes are always fresh, decadent and just overall, delish!! There's a lovely nursery on the premises too as well as an antiques shop.

What a cute little breakfast spot! Awesome atmosphere. Great coffee. Beautiful decor. For the eggs Benedict, I wouldve loved the option between a ciabatta or sourdough bread instead of potato fritters, but enjoyed it nevertheless. Would definitely recommend especially if you have kids.

Might be the restaurant with the best play area for kids in all of South Africa. In fact, I'm pretty sure it is. The food was nice, their cakes are quite good.
