This a golf course but every Saterday morning there is a parkrun on the golf course at 08h00.
Love love love the place. Officially my parkrun home. Friendly volunteers and the runners/walkers are just as friendly. The dogs are on leashes and the owners are very aware of the people around them.
It's a beautiful set up for a Saturday morning run, and it's a colorful friendly environment. Well organized and marked Park run, thank you to the organizers and volunteers. For an individual or family you just fit in
Wonderful park run. Beautiful view and warm and friendly people. Hillside is the BEST.
The Hillside Parkrun on a golf course right next to the Magaliesberg. Well organized parkrun. Volunteers are mostly friendly and helpful. The route is well marked & maintained, on a mixture of trail & grass, not that easy but still relatively fast. There are no shades on the course so remember sunscreen. Website states that no dogs are allowed but there are always dogs. Never been an issue with any dogs. The toilets are clean, neat and nearby. There is parking nearby and parking on the course. Coffee & breakfast available after. Recommended.
Lovely parkrun on the golf course. Definitely one to do again.
