Costa makes a lot of his own cheese. His Danish blue and gorgonzola are to die for. Best double thick yoghurt this side of the sun. He will store and mature your order for your special occasion. Ask him for his drunken blue (only on special request). Good prices overall including produce like butter.

There is some backstory as to why I think Hoekplaas is a wonderful place, I originally ordered my cheese from a different place and a week before my wedding when I went to collect my order it was more expensive and totally wrong. So with a week left where I was supposed to be finalizing everything I was running around like a headless chicken, and that's where Hoekplaas comes in, I called them and got an appointment within a day, I explained my situation, and they assisted me with utmost professionalism. And calmed the storm within. I would 10/10 recommend them to everyone. And their gouda is really one of a kind. They even gave us ideas about the process and layout on my wedding day. They are clearly good at what they do and I would like to highly recommend them to everyone, for all kinds of events. Even if you don't have an event, go there anyway, and experience a true flavour adventure.
