Waterfalls are beautiful, the river line and natural swimming pool is also very beautiful. Surroundings are natural and forest gives a magical atmosphere. This place could easily get 5 star rating but the maintenance of the facility is almost non existant with 460 meter access path to the falls in disrepair and possibly dangerous for some. Still. I loved it. Hope I can attach some photos

The waterfall is well worth the walk down the hill. Take a swimming costume and towel along for a dip in the water. Unfortunately the tourist site gets 3 stars for the boardwalk in total disrepair compared to when I visited years ago, as well as quite aggressive car guards at the start. I'd recommend going in a group.

Great views, definitely worth the hike

Horrible maintenance, PLASTIC bottles everywhere on the trail, the wooden pathway to the waterfall is just plain dangerous, I would prefer to rather walk without it. Beautiful waterfall just wish there was more cleaning up after the hillbillies.

Great walk, albeit short and steep. People, keep your litter on you until you find a bin. If you don't find a bin, put it in your car

Very unsafe. Very badly maintained. Very filthy.

There are 2 routes to get to the bottom of the falls. The first route starts at the backpackers (Away for the Faeries) and descends into the valley at a steep, but manageable slope. The route then follows a contour path past the Big Tree towards the falls. This route is 8km and takes 3-4 hours. The second route starts at the view point near the top of the falls and follows a considerably steeper path down to the bottom of the valley. This route is 500m of descent, but it is advised to go slowly. Whichever route you choose, the view at the bottom of the falls is worth it.
