Been seeing the signs for Honingklip for a few years now & just never got a chance to have a look see. But what a great place from Richard the owner having a good chat & explaining the routes to the views of Fisherhaven & all the way out to Greyton. Some really technical DH gravel road & a serious climb on the black route make sure you leave enough in the legs for the 2nd half of route you will need it. The trails are often sandy, but rideable through 99% of them, Richard has started building some single track & there is some existing track, so dont expect manicured trails, but very raw & rough natural trails that are challenging enough & hard going on the legs. The climbing is hard going due to terrain being a bit loose & tops out at overall 780m over 27km. Watch out of for the DH's from top of climb to bottom very technical & hairy but thrilling at the same time. But def. worth the ride & I am sure the beers & food are great afterwards too but only arrived back after sunset so missed out on those. Well done Richard keep it up some trails worth building on for sure...

Great 2-4 grading trail. Awesome views. The owners are friendly and helpfull. Its a working farm so be on the lookout for farm vehicles. There are escape routes at most difficult sections.
Great for trailrunning, cycling & 44 drives
Awesome trail, great variety and even better views. Highly recommended.
A challenging 4x4 trail on the farm. Once you have conquered it, head over to the visitors centre and try their craft beers. They all taste great
