It's still a beautiful sight, but nothing like it used to be. It's sad to see how backward Howick Falls environment went that was once a major tourist attraction. Even the awesome stalls that once populated the street down to the falls have minimized to only 6 or maybe 8. It's literally just for a photo and check in opportunity, but not worth spending time at.

A must see when in the nearby area. It was alive after all the rain and gave a lovely display of force. It is a pity that the area to view gives an impression of neglect and although Covid might a contributing factor, I is not the tourist spot it used to be and the area creates a bit of an unsafe feel.
Beautiful place but.... There were so many vendors on the site and other people who looked dodgy. Felt a bit unsafe The top if the falls had ladies doing their lundry. I think just that single visit was enough. I wouldn't go back again.
More can be done to protect this. And make it more fun! At the moment its just a Spectacular Waterfall with people doing washing at the top. And people selling trinkets on the side!

Breathtaking views of the water fall and a lovely atmosphere.
Nice place to visit and tick off on bucket list. Very easy 400m walk from parking to falls. Try and avoid pay toilets unless absolutely necessary.
