We stopped here Tuesday night for our last dinner in Howick. It is nestled away yet cozy. We received such great service from the two ladies there. My mother and I both had the steak and veg. Excellently prepared. I highly recommend the cheesy garlic sauce. It was divine. It was also well priced for a tourist town and it is evident that they strive for a home-cooked experience. It was so nice!

So howick is pretty much a ghost town late on a Sunday afternoon, if you're looking for a bite to eat. Black olive was pretty bang on, had a pizza as usual I will definitely be back you beauts.

Very nice place to meet for a meal and coffee. Nice outdoor area. Easy off Main street with lots of parking.
On the day we were there it appeared that there was only one waitress. There was no hand towel in the restroom. Not up to scratch.
