Really enjoyed the the Music and friends yesterday, the only problem is I now have two Howler cards that that will soon become pollution in the environment because I cannot use them at the next event. I also had to pay a fee for the card when I got it, and the leftover money on the card I will incur “a small fee” to get out. The other issues is while purchasing food and drinks with the card every vendor touched the card, which could encourage the spread of COVID-19. So I ask you Howler how can you better work this system??

This company is the biggest ripoff, they arrange events (and I'm not talking about Plett Rage where they have only refunded 50% of the tickets when they have had the benefit of our funds since March... we have all had a tough year), but for an event they arranged in Plett for 29th December then cancelled a week later. But now, instead of auto refunding the amounts paid by cc, we have to fill in request form, supply reason (when howler cancelled event is not a reason) and upload booking cinfirmation then refund less 10% charges. Not cool. I would be reluctant to pay this company any money in advance. Not happy.

I used Howler for the first time in 2017 and again recently for a major festival, it was a great experience using their platform. From purchasing tickets, getting a refund, loading my wrist band with cash and using it at the event and getting the cash out, everything was smooth. I wouldn't have it any other way. Innovation at its best, thank you Howler :)

The Howler Cashless system is genius. Honestly using Howler at the last two concerts i attended (Incubus & Seether) has made the entire experience much more streamlined and hassle free. The fact that i don't have to stress about losing my wallet, and i don't have to waste any more time waiting for change makes the whole concert experience so much more enjoyable. It also helps move queue's along measurably faster than any cash bar events i have ever attended. Big thumbs up to the Howler team, i look forward to using your systems at the next event.

Howler's Back Office Systems are slow, inefficient, lack credibility and are not fit for purpose. Cape Town Motor and Music Show was cancelled in October 2019 and I am still waiting for one of my refunds to come through. I have been fighting for months without success - long before Corona even struck us here in SA. Guys, don't use Howler to book your tickets - they cannot be trusted with your money. From now on we will only deal with reputable booking agents who say up front that if an event is cancelled then a full refund will be provided. South Africa is one of the few countries where the ticket buyer still takes the risk. For confidence to return that has to change for good otherwise the Events Industry here is dead.

Was subjected to Howler recently for an event. My money was accidentally loaded onto my partners account. The cartwheels required to get that money reimbursed to me, proved to much for the system. Also, the charges for loading, buying and reimbursing are hefty, considering that its single use tags and wrist bands. A captive system that does not allow tipping and minimal checks for bartenders that overcharge. It is better than many other systems, but then you are in a queue anyway at the event to load onto your account, as the 3G is typically non-existent at big events for remote top-ups at the event.
