Nice place to visit when in Franchoek. Peaceful and will tell you all about how franchoek was established and why the France chose to come to South Africa

We had an awesome day out in Franschhoek and the Huguenot Museum was definitely ons of the highlights. Take your time to read the history of the Huguenots making their way to South Africa.

Disappointing - gardens gone to the... Questionable preservation of the Bibles on display. Beautiful displays perfume & new main.

We phoned the Tourism office 1 day prior to book. I was informed that the museum will be open at 13h30. On arrival Sunday 24 January the museum was closed. The person working at the Tourism office supplied me with wrong information. Please communicated with your personnel to avoid these letdowns.

Very informative and well-constructed museum! Interior design is done well and the experience is well worth it. The history behind the area of Franschoek is definitely very interesting! Give this museum a try if you find yourself in Franschoek and make sure to check out the Huguenot Memorial while you are there!

I walked around the gardens which were beautifully understated, didn't actually go into the museum, a bit too expensive for my purse.
