Good for kids
Of course in theory it must be a great place. A history class for our kids, an attraction for tourists, a park to relax and see a great view of city. But: - Google maps takes u through a neighbourhood village! First u must pass security guard. - then it takes u to the gate of a guesthouse cottage! We returned to the guards and asking about the route, they just said return from another direction! Then we go and find a fence with nice view and u can see the stairs through the fence! But no info board no sign! Suddenly one of guards came and said there is a little gate in a corner and he opened the padlock and asked us to lock on return and he left! We went inside and terrible experience! Tall grass that u must push through, then a great view and u see the monument about 100m on top but hiking through rocks and then suddenly u notice a few Wanderers! Not safe at all! So we had to run back and leave the visit! Hope municipality reads and tries to fix this! Even if not important, even if not from a good point in history of Africa, but still history and let’s use it for education. -Inform the guards, -Put a board of some history info about the monument, -Clean the trail from gate to the monument, -Fix the fence to control access -Fix the address in Google maps
