Reasonably kept park in Durban North. Good place for outdoor functions and kids to run around. Has few kids activities like swings and jungle Jim etc.. not much visible security safer to go in numbers. Lots of vagrants . Has toilets which is ok. Has parking but very busy on weekends and holidays then parking is limited to maybe about 100 vehicles.

Such a tranquil place. Needs a tiny bit of upkeep but other than that it's a little hideaway on a busy day.

Secure parking and pleasant enough to chill in the shade. BUT, with the exception of roughly mowing the grass, well most of it, the rest of the place doesn't look like it pays the Japanese any respect whatsoever It certainly does not resemble the Japanese Garden of old as minimal maintenance is done. All gardens and pathways are full of weeds, there's a snapped tree in the north-west corner and in general, it pretty much shows the consumerist nature of the current Municipality and Governing Party.

Absolutely stunning. Loved it. We had a picnic in the gardens and they are well maintained and cleanly kept. The Koifish in the pond are beautiful and a wonder to look at. A large variety of birds call the park home. The monkeys can be quite a nuisance so do be careful with any open food you may have with you.

Lovely clean park, very spacious, loved the atmosphere and every family that was there really enjoyed themselves. Just beware of the monkey, they sometimes steal food off the tables,

Lovely park for family picnic or just a walk. Plenty of sitting areas. There's even a playground for younger children.
