Good for kids
What an amazing experience! As someone with very little riding experience, the guide (Jan) was extremely patient with us. Our safety was his priority. The horses especially loved the sea and couldn't wait to run along the beach (much to this newbie's panic ) The only downside (literally the only one) is that because we were not experienced riders, I felt like the the ride was a bit long. The beautiful scenery of the bush, dunes and beach made it worth it!

To the owners of Papiesfontein Beach Horse Rides. I post this notice for all to read because we have had a fantastic experience this past weekend. My fiancé to be and I got engagement on the dunes overlooking J-Bay. Our tour guide, Jan, played along beautifully to make it a memorable experience for us, one which we will never forget. We wish to compliment the staff of Papiesfontein Beach Horse Rides, especially Nathan who went out of his way to assist with the arrangements for the surprise engagement. Jan that played the key role had excellent timing in setting the scene for me to make the move. Many thanks to the staff of Papiesfontein Beach Horse Rides, you guys made our day.
I had an amazing time. We got to see a part of the beach which I believe I would not have seen otherwise. The guide was very helpful to me as my "beginner" horse just felt like running all the time. And I was a bit afraid, so the guide gladly helped to get me comfortable. The dunes were amazing. My one recommendation to the company would be to allow a longer time for photography. Or come up with an option that allows photography even if this may cost more. Nevertheless an amazing experience. Thanks to all there.

Defintely the best beach horse ride I have done! Very well trained horses, most beautiful scenery! Would recommend it for any nature lovers.
