The menu shows that you can either order your fish grilled or fried, the grill option suited me and my family. On arrival we were told that they only fry the fish ? I told them the website said that they do , they said the old owner did that and there is a new owner and they don;t do that. I have a small girl and I requested a small portion of hake as per the menu, they said they only do medium and large. So the costs were more than expected. The fish batter was not properly cooked , not enjoyable at all and as for the chips , not nice at all . We did not finish our food . Not impressed at all , waste of time and money .

Awesome food. Fresh and big portions for the price. Chips is the best I've had in a long time. Definitely worth eating there.

Excellent customer service. The food is delicious and definitely the best fish and chips in JHB. I think the other reviewer was confused with another shop. The fish is amazing.
