Best service and state of the art equipment. My vision had deteriorated to the point that I could barely see. I had been to 4 different optometrists and an opthamologist, however, none of them were able to diagnose my condition. I had lost all hope until my opthamologist suggested that I try Bluebird Optical. Within a few minutes of my first appointment, using state of the art equipment that I had never seen before, the optometrist discovered that I had keratoconus which meant that I needed specialised scleral contact lenses to restore my vision. I want to send a special thank you to Alon and the team for all your help!

My eye test is better than yours! Thanks to @BluBirdOptical Having worn glasses since late primary school – I’ve had countless eye tests at multiple optometrists over the years. When I chose to do my annual eye exam at #BluBirdOptical, I had no idea how with the latest technology, how comprehensive and preventative an eye test could actually be! Gone are the days of manual tests – I got to experience a digital device called a Phoropter - thanks to this tech, my eye test overall was so much quicker than what I’ve experienced in the past. What was hugely reassuring that all the adjustments made during the test as I gave my answer, were done digitally – giving precise prescription results. I just loved all the digital data! We could even check for eyelash lice, high blood pressure, diabetes and glaucoma. Interestingly, thanks to a machine called a Keratograph, the optometrist was able to discover that I suffer slightly from dry eyes (my eyes get dry in 3 seconds, the average time is 10 seconds), because the oil glands in my eyelids are slightly shorter than normal. Just think, this is the first time EVER that I have received this information and suggested treatment! From my experience, it’s so important to choose an optometrist with the equipment on hand to do a full diagnosis of not only your eyesight, but your overall eye and body health, so that you know what you’re treating and that your prescription and contacts are made with the utmost precision! Such an awesome experience. Highly recommend @BluBirdOptical
