Maison de Mae a Air bb found within the estate I am yet so spend a night soon at a Air bb and will upload pictures and give a review, I will hold this for later next week. In anticipation. So this happened and I booked in at Maison de Mae in Four-ways. It was a disaster, I paid for 5 nights and only stayed one. You may ask why as the pictures on the bb are so pretty, well pictures are not always what that seem. When I arrived there was no kettle for tea , on enquiring and receiving I had to place it on the floor to plug it in , I was most appalled. The bed mattress had a human imprint in it in the foetal position, and sincerely needs an upgrade and creaked all night. The room is small and stuffy. There was an ants nest under the curtain clearly not well cleaned. There was not an abundance of towels as advertised, only one set , so no clean towels for my morning shower, the towels were frayed. There was no covid sanitiser. The hosts never wore a mask. I would not not recommend the accommodation at all. There was no under cover parking for my car , I had to park on the verge and in the morning found my car like a sauna , not impressed.

Poorly run estate and ALWAYS has issues at the gate to get in! Service providers, take aways and e-hailing services refuse to come to the estate because it can take up to 40min at times to get through security. I’ve tried bringing this issue to “estate management” but have never received a response.
