I thought I'd died and gone to fabric heaven. The biggest range of fabrics for couches, chairs, furniture that I've ever seen. Run like a machine, even though busy, things are done quickly and efficiently. There is a dress and clothing section to with every type of fabric imaginable. Accessories and finishes for both sectors are also plenty. Anything needed to clean fabrics, whether chemical or cloth is there too. I had to go back a second time to finish my shopping, as I was so amazed at the selections I spent at least an hour just walking up and down the aisles. Extremely affordable fabrics or decor top of the range is under one roof. Curtain fabrics, bedding fabrics, toweling and sleepwear fabrics too. Amazing warehouse.

Recently I have found that they are very low on wool stock but whilst I can accept that what I cant tolerate is lack of service. I enquired about an item on their whats app line on the 25th of January 2021 as I wanted to purchase it online. I was promised that someone would get back to me and I even messaged a second time a few days later with the same random reply that someone would get back to me. To date, I am still waiting for this someone to get back to me. Tip to Chammdor: don't run an online/whats app facility if you don't have a clue as to how to manage it. Maybe train your staff too.

I went to get fabric for a client this morning as i so happened to be in the area, unlike other fabric stores no one asked if they could assist , I asked several times and was just directed to the section , no one at the section to assist . I found a lot of guys in green conglomerating all over the shop , the last time I asked for assistance where a few of them were huddling together I was answered with a " I will help you when I'm done" Done what ? chatting . I do not have time to wait for some one being done chatting. Time is money and we are all feeling the pinch after lock down. I spent 3/4 of an hour at your store and left with nothing. I used to direct clients to go and select their upholstery fabric from you. I hang my head in shame for recommending a store where they stand a chance to get such appalling service so in future I will not recommend that they go choose fabric from your store . It was my first time in the store and unless it is the utmost last option will not frequent your store in future .

Love this store, i could spend hours in here. Always find exactly what I want. The staff are friendly and helpful. The fabrics are of the BEST quality. Trims and Habby are a bit pricey but again it's the great quality you pay for here.

Terrible service from Lucia at till 9, we were looking for a straw and my husband found the bamboo straw from another till, we put it down and she had the audacity to ask my mom if that's where we found it and that she needs to put it back where she found it. You would think that the fact my mom is a regular customer at this place, and everyone knows her that they would have better manners when talking to her. Not impressed with the service we starting to receive from the staff. When we brought it up with the management, they said that the staff did nothing wrong. That's very disappointing. Clearly our business is not needed. I would no longer recommend Chamdors anymore to anyone.
