The park is closed due to the Corona virus. But it is a nice place to relax especially in summer time. Lots of trees for shades and a dam to fish.

Better. Clean. Toilets but mobile. Proper ones under construction. Nice access control. No bottles allowed

It has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Such a pity the municipality does not just spend a bit of money and effort on fixing this place up. Even if they charged a small entrance fee in order to fund the work. It can be such an awesome spot for families to spend a beautiful day in the sun.

This is really a very poor public park space to gather. The toilets are horrendous and an absolute mess - I found evidence of it being used by Heroin users. The people there are extremely rowdy due to their ability to abuse alcohol as they wish and play music as loud as they want. This is despite the police making regular rounds. I don't know if the water feature there is genuine or man made and there is really not much to see. This is definitely not a famiy picnic gathering spot and families should forgo the place. I do not want to even imagine what goes on there after dark

I like to walk at Coronation park with my dog. With the little rain we had the dam is very empty. There are glass bottles in the dam on the ground where there is no water. If they can clean that before the rain comes it will be very nice. Otherwise the bottles will go in the water again.
