Very depressing.. As you have to identify your love ones dead body.. I really didn't like the place .. You feel so down and very very sad

We have waited for a week to receive results for my nephew who was only 5 months, we couldn't decide on the burial day cos of the delay from the Forensic. After we got results, my nephew's birth certificate had been withheld and we couldn't do a death certificate. Hell on earth.

My mom was collected from Joburg Gen Hospital at 08:30am(which is about 10 minutes away but only arrived at Forensics Pathology Services(FPS) Offices at Hillbrow at 12:31pm(4 hours later). The Van that picked her up passed the FPS at office at 09:00am with the body. The customer service is nonexistent

My friend died on 14 November 2017 due to burn injuries in South Africa and Postmortem was conducted by this lab. After a lapse of more than 2 months they didn't provide Autopsy Report of patient causing an agony to his family in Pakistan. Concerned Dr Smith didn't prepare report and went on leave as told by lab; Neither he returned after more than 2 months nor any other Doctor assisted in getting the report. Nor he could send the report to close the case. Worst experience ever and seems highly unprofessional for a renowned lab dealing in inappropriate manner to a foreigner speaks very low. We are still told that doctor didn't return on duty and report cannot be provided. Police tried to establish contact but no Response. Irony indeed.
