Have had some of the best nights here. Awesome music!
My main issues with Kong was on their midweek event on Tuesdays they refuse to let anyone sit down unless they are purchasing bottle service. They charged R15 for lime juice in my shot of Tequila. ( the shot was only R30) Then they added automatic Tipping to be standing in heels at the bar with lack luster customer service. The have no menu to see the selection of what you're even ordering, so you don't even know what brand of tequila you're getting once you order it. The crowd on that Tuesday was a little bit over 19 years old so if you're traveling into Johannesburg this is not the spot to be. The decor looks cool but really it's overall cheesy.

Major strip joint vibes, the fancy high end type though but its an excellent place to wild out and get gassed, you will enjoy yourself definitely. I advise to attend mostly if there's an event/performance otherwise the entrance fee is abit ridiculously priced, this is Sandton after all and don't compare drink prices to the kasi either. Just go have fun guys
