My little Sheila was soooo sick.. Subsequently diagnosed with the parvo virus... One of the most terrifying experiences to see your little baby detoriate right in front of your eyes.. For those who don't know there is no cure for Parvo. With the love and care of the Veterinarian, the Sister ️ and Staff Shelia made it through this often times deadly virus. To all the staff at Rant En Dal hospital... THANK YOU!!!

I brought my 14 year old dog to Rant-en-dal Vet to have a sonar done on her liver. I expected her to be handled with care, but instead we got into a surgical room where the table was full of blood and hair. After being reluctant to put my dog on that, the nurse then semi cleaned the table. From the time that we got in there, shaved her tummy and did the sonar, it took about 3 min. He shoved her over to lie on her tummy and she slipped, after which they had the nurse hold her down to shave and do the sonar. I was told to bring her in the next day for more tests. I brought her in at 8, but they overbooked themselves. I received a phone call she was going to stay over (for an x-ray). I told them she didn't have a serious procedure and that I'd be picking her up before closing whether they do the x-ray or not. I got a phone call at 4pm that day that they were starting with her and they'd call me back. They never called me back, so I went to collect her. When I got there they told me they first had to do another x-ray. The doctor started taking her bandage off of the drip needle (not holding the needle) and caused her a lot of pain. I could see the plastic tube going in and out of the hole in her arm. There was a lot of blood there, so I could see they rushed the needle in. They then proceeded to inject her 4 times, she was crying in pain, she even tried to bite the doctor with the few teeth she has left to tell him that he was hurting her. The cries from her made me cringe. Then another doctor walks in and tells my dog that she is a naughty dog- after suffering this abuse. At the end of the day, they got the job done at one hell of a price, but the fact that my animal was treated that badly really makes me mad. I will never go back here. As a fertility specialist I'd expect more from this doctor than that treatment my dog was put through.

Have compassion for the animals and the owners when bad news are given. They are also willing to go the extra mile. Came out for an emergency when I called and said my dog is extremely sick. She had to be put down. The amazing vet let me hold her the whole time while he did it without hurting her. He gave me space to hold her and cry and I will always be grateful. They are the best.
