SAFWAF MPV is a fully independent, reliable and regular liner shipping service from South Africa to West Africa . The service provides cargo interests with efficient and cost effective multi-purpose cargo solutions. The service presently calls Capetown, Durban and Walvis Bay on the Southern African coastline and at Matadi, Boma, Pointe Noire and Luanda/Sonils terminal in West Africa on a scheduled basis. Port Gentil, amongst other ports on route up to Dakar are offered on an inducement basis. The service accommodates for bagged and unitised cargoes, conventional cargo e.g. vehicles, machinery, transformers, oil and gas consignments, mining bulk, rail cargo, steel structures and containers. All vessels are geared and have a heavy lift capacity of up to 160 tons. Full IMDG/IMO capable enabling acceptance of all IMO classes including IMO 1 and IMO 7. Cargoes are uplifted on a liner, spot and contract of affreightment basis. SAFWAF MPV have offices in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg . Ownership of SAFWAF MPV is held by Fairseas International ( BIMCO owner members), a shipping and freight logistics group based in Cape Town, established in 2005.
