Recently I was put in contact with the Animal Anti-Cruelty League being unemployed and unable to afford a huge vet bill for my adopted stray cat. When I went in the first time EVERYONE from the gate security to the staff inside were absolutely amazing. I was a little wary sitting in the office registering and giving all the required details but was super-relieved when told they would accept my situation and offer me some assistance. My little stray had to be checked, vaccinated and sterilized. On the second trip I dropped off my little Grey cat and she was looked after incredibly well. Again, a big surprise and a wonderful relief. On pick up I had a few operation queries but left satisfied. Later on I was contacted by phone and email by the heads of the various departments clarifying all my queries extremely well and professionally. I was very relieved, thankful and I will definitely be looking to offer my voluntary services on certain days going forward and I invite anyone looking for a great animal center to do the same. It's one thing to look after an animal but another to do it with your heart. Thank you AACL for such a great experience. Good work and keep it up.
