This restaurant is not licensed but charges R50 corkage fee! When querying this, the poor waiters say they have this ‘fight’ every day with the customers, but the owner will not budge. This results in the patrons not giving tips, which the staff apparently live from. For those who like a cup of coffee after a meal, you won’t be getting any. They do not serve coffee. I also found there to be too much rice and not a lot of fish.

I really enjoy coming to this place for their sushi. Their portions are generous and food is always fresh. The rice is served at room temp and the fish is cold. Service leaves a bit to be desired but the food, which is what we come here for anyway, is exceptional. They have a new play area for kiddies but the menu caters for a more adult palette. 10/10 would come again.

They've moved downstairs now at the blubird centre since I was last there, and the conveyor belt system is no longer being used, but the food was just as tasty as I remember it being. The sushi is generously portioned ultimately making it good value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient, overall a pleasant vibe and lunchtime experience

Joke sushi restaurant takes 15 minutes to make a hand roll and maki, and the salmon tastes like it’s been in the fridge for a week. With so many other places around this is the last place you should ever have to go

Great tasting and good selection of fresh sushi that was very reasonably priced,-got take away as the sushi conveyer hasn't been working since post covid.ill be back

Unfortunately they only have polystyrene packaging. Thin is known to be carcinogenic (causes cancer) and also cannot be recycled. Please get an alternative, less harmful packaging if you would like a better review.
