I have memories of going to this bowls club when I was 16. I am now 26 and still head to the zoo lake for a midweek dinner once a week. The staff are incredible and the food is always a treat. Cannot get over how large and delicious the pizzas are.

Our running group congregates here - the staff are friendly and take great care of us, and our beer is icy cold and the onion rings fat and delicious. Still one of the most affordable and lovely spots in Joburg, especially on a chilled Sunday afternoon.

This place always has a good vibe, their beers are served cold and their pizzas are delicious. But my pizza order was delayed and it was cold when I received it after waiting for 45 minutes. It seems like my order wasn't rung up initially and when it was ready to be served, was forgotten about again.

Very chilled place. The food is excellent and the beer cold, and you don't often get a chance to have lunch next to a bowling green. Really feels like you're in the countryside.
