3 stars for now... Changed To 4 stars since the owner had the courtesy of commenting On this review. Please rename the lounge to Bidvest Lounge. Nothing premium about it during Load Shedding ( no electricity). No extraction fans nor light. Otherwise these guys are generally excellent

They have a large smoking area with ample seating. The entire space is well maintained and clean. Great self-service buffet style meals (before covid). Due to the covid restrictions they now have pick-up and go meals (which are sealed). They also have a variety of vegetarian meals available. Overall the lounge is comfortable and quiet, fantastic if you have a long layover or if you arrive really early for your flight. It's really close to most boarding gates so that's convenient.

Worst Airport lounge I've ever been to. Service is exceptionally poor. In my case, a staff member messed a can of beer on me and my partner ,which (besides being against my religion) in general is an extreme discomfort to travel in wet clothing reeking of beer. Staff were entirely unapologetic and provided no assistant. Surely it is basic hospitality practice to rectify a mistake such as the above with by the very least, providing cleaning materials?! This lounge experience was severely below the minimum expectations of any basic lounge, far more so on that is marketed as offering a "Premier" experience. TLDR: Bad, Avoid at all costs

If the slow lounge (up two levels from this lounge) is the benchmark this unfortunately pales in comparison. The coffee is from a machine and less than spectacular for a premier lounge. There were no warm meals when I looked or bottled water. Simple things but expected for me when arriving in a ‘premier’ lounge. If I consider what one pays here you could get a great cappuccino at Vida, a warm meal and sparkling waters for half the price. The only thing you’d lose out on is the seat which in my instance was stained. I wouldn’t return even although it’s a perk from my bank.

I had a fun time waiting for my flight! The health shot was to die for. This took me by surprise, as I usually do not enjoy drinks made from watermelon. Friendly staff! Just an amazing experience! Interesting thing that happened, again. Second time a patron of the melanin lacking persuasion mistook me for staff. Of course, this is no fault of the lounge. Just warning my fellow black folk that you will be stereotyped :).

Always a pleasure to visit. Staff friendly and helpful. It is now downstairs, so made it difficult for my wife in crutches as there is no lift down

The lounge doesn't really compare to its competitors like the SLOW Lounge. Meals are not terrible, but not that great either. There's ample seating space, but with all those seats it probably gets very full. The toilets are pretty standard. There's nothing exceptional worth mentioning.
