9 years later and my tonsillectomy is in pain. I can't swollow anything. I remember I bled after the procedure. I remember the pain I was in then and it's the same now. When ever it gets cold outside I experience pain. So I would just say my experience is the worst. It's 2 am now and I can't sleep I'm in pain.

Thanks to Dr. Charl van Heerden my 4 year old has to go through trauma of multiple surgeries to fix Dr van Heerden's botched job.

I dont believe in perfection but he is on the pinnacle level way over the optimum. I was a patient half a decade ago. I remember him saying, "if you ever face unusuallities, never hesitate to utter a U-Turn". Guess what! I still got my 1st day prescribed medication, I don't need it!!!

very friendly Doctor. he was friendly to our kids and he explained everything in details. he makes sure that the kids are free around him. the best Doctor ever. i will highly recommend him to anyone who want to take their children for ENT assessment.

i was referred by my GP to the ENT as my son had been battling with tonsil problems in the past year and this year twice after two weeks of antibiotics from the GP. He kept missing preschool and i always suffering. i called the ENT office made an appointment. on the appointment day i gave in my details and saw the doctor. Dr Van Heerden is so friendly, open and honest. He asked my son to draw him his favorite animal. On the day of the operation. He welcome us and advised on what the process was. Oh yes i have my son's tonsils at home in the freeze. He gave us the process on what to do when we got home. which foods will help with the healing. as to date i am happy and cant wait to see him for my son's review. his fine and not bleeding all is good. I recommend this ENT Specialist with 10/10
