Interesting monument at a major roundabout. It was designed by famous Architect Sir Herbert Baker at the request of Cecil John Rhodes to honour those who died to defend Kimberley during the Siege of Kimberley and was completed around 1902.
Such lovely memorial. But, people don't keep it neat, clean.
Needs a garden around the memorial or a couple of creepers to make it green. Great architecture though. Now the merging of five roads, but once, the siege of Kimberley.
Nice and clean at niggmht
Impressive classical architecture.
