It was hands down the best seafood meal I have had in years. Our party had tuna, cob, prawns, hake, calamari and whitebait. Everything was exceptional! Added to this is that the prices were reasonable and that alcohol was bring your own without corkage meant it was amazing value as well. Highly, highly recommended.

The fish and prawns were cooked to perfection. The calamari needs a bit of work. But overall it was a lovely experience.

Layback Chilled Value for money Staff friendly and welcoming Fresh Fresh fish You don’t miss the big city deepfreeze fisheries. The fish here taste better because it’s near the sea ( or I just want to believe it to be so). It’s a city fishery with a charm of a small town fish and chips.

10/10! Seafood is fresh, portions are big. They even brought extra oyster, because one of ours was too small, they said. Also nice outdoor seating which is a big plus during COVID.

The food wad great,they could do with a extra wait or or waitress. Prices are a little high but it was good. Its a beautiful setting in between all the plants.

Great fresh food prepared in ways that compliment the flavour of the seafood rather than dull it. Huge portions and a wide selection of seafood. Definitely a must if you are touring the garden route

Great food but unfortunately terrible service for take away. Called in advance and was told 15-20min. Get there and wait almost an hour just to be told that they are prioritizing restaurant guests which is why it took so long. Rather don't have a take away option then. Won't be going back which is a pity as the food is good.
