My daughter had an appointment to renew her drivers license at 8 o clock this morning. She was there an half an hour before the time and told security that she had an appointment at 8, he told her yeah yeah and so does everyone else standing here so just fall into the line with everyone else and wait your turn. Luckily we phoned the traffic department and explained to them what was happening and the kind lady Rochelle arranged for someone to fetch my daughter out of the line. The best of all is that the security had a list of the names for appointments for the day with him and her name was on the list as the lady pointed out to him. If we did not phone or if they did not answer their phone she would have missed her appointment due to security not doing what he should. So keep the traffic departments phone number handy just in case the same happens to you.

The booking system is a great idea, however there still would need to be a few more tellers to process the large amount of people getting processed with the eye tests. Was impressed that phone call was answered and was made aware that drivers card was ready. Line wasn't too much of a wait, but the people there seemed quite 'moody' as it seemed they had been waiting for quite some time regarding the eye test and payment queue. Service regarding government institution - good.

Disgraceful service. Tried to book appointment online but either offline or not able to take appointments. After 5 hours we are not even through the front door. Covid 19 hotspot. People on top of oneanother. Only at 1pm did an authority figure come and maintain social distancing. Just unnecessary and inefficient!

The new online booking system was supposed to make things go faster. I stood in one spot in the queue for 2 hours, no one could assist me or even acknowledge my existence. All I had to do was make a payment but I eventually left because no one could help me.

I found them to be efficient. Between 11H00 and 14H00 I found the que's to be shorter. When having to complete a medical form, don't complete anything on it in your own handwriting. Only the doctor is to complete the form.

Service at department were very good and friendly at collection side but to call them u call the whole morning and sometimes they pick up phone and hang up

A very pleasant experience to renew the drivers' lisence. Everything was organized and the whole process went quicker than anticipated.

Well done MMMM! Within just more than a hour new drivers card applied and paid! It helps to have everything ready and make an appointment!!
