KGS is Highly recommended. Gerrie our guide made the Kruger Safari a memorable experience. His passion and enthusiasm was contagious. We started the day with a leopard sighting, Gerrie intuitively knew that the leopard was going to go for a kill - as all other tourist vehicles clicked pictures and moved on - we stood there patiently and in the end were rewarded with a gorgeous sight of the leopard attempting a kill. This was just one of the many memories we have from Kruger. Gerrie could have easily taken us down one of the commercial routes in Kruger and while we would have still spotted the Big5, we would not have experienced the 'Real' Kruger as he called it. Thanking our stars we chose Kruger Gateway Safaris. Thanks again Gerrie.

My family and I had a lovely day at Kruger with oom Gerrie. He went to the trouble to do sown extra traveling for our sake and was a great guide for the day. We so so many wonderful sights that the kruger has to offer that's to his expert eyes and knowledge of the park and we got a lot more than we paid for. One of the highlights was an awesome cheetah siting along with a black rhino. It was an all round amazing experience.

We had absolutely amazing experience and we saw the Big Five twice. Gerries knowlege is amazing and he gave us a very nice impression about the animals and Mother Nature. Furthermore after the trips we got the best pictures from him immediately :-) For us Gerrie was the best guide which we could have, he love his job and he is a very friendly and attentive men. Thank you so much for the two unforgettable days with you in Kruger National Park.

This safari tour with Gerrie was absolutely outstanding. He brought us at the perfect time in the morning to see the sun rise and the day starting, and managed to know so many areas that had hidden gems - we got to see 3 leopards on our tour as well as the big 5, and it made the experience fantastic. He was so knowledgable, and patient with us (with 7 Irish accents to understand!) - he also took photos of great quality on his SLR camera and sent them on, and let us borrow some binoculars. The whole day was a pleasure and we got to see Kruger in the best way we could’ve imagined. 5 stars isn’t enough!

Wow what an amazing day, Gerrie makes his guests feel like family. He is knowledgeable on all aspects of game and wildlife including the different bird species. His vehicle is well equiped and very comfortable. He is a tremendous guide and i would recommend His services for sure

Visiting the Kruger National Park is a lifetime experience for anyone travelling to South Africa. At the same time experiencing the wildlife by safari along with a person such as Gerrie Smith of Kruger Gateway Safari is like an icing on the cake. His approach towards work is very professional but at the same time we as a tourist were hosted by him to our comfort while exploring the wilderness in his vehicle. I would also like to acknowledge and appreciate him for the efforts he puts in to make the tourist have the closest possible encounters with the Big Five of Kruger an other wild life. I was fortunate enough to have seen the Big Five twice in one day of my safari. Last but not the least my 8 years old son wants me to keep on writing more as he had an incredible and memorable experience as well. Mr Smith makes experience of exploring the national park simply perfect. Highly Recommended
