Having been admitted to the medical ward for the 2nd time in a month, I have to commend Netcare Pinehaven on changes it has implemented in the medical ward since the beginning of March 2021. The nursing staff is so much more caring and I'd go as far as saying so much more competent. Thank you for listening to my previous complaint and making the changes. Thank you for being so accommodating and taking such good care of me during my 2nd stay. Much appreciated

After spending 7 weeks in Pinehaven I feel I need to pass comment on my stay. ICU /High Care wards that I stayed in were top class, however the general ward I was in was not some place I would want to go back to. There are staff that are dedicated and give their profession justice but there are staff that are just there for the paycheck. The night staff are atrocious in the general ward. The resident physio team are incredible and go the extra mile to help even when it's not their job. Thank you to all who helped me recover and live to see another day.

The hospital is very clean and neat...nurses are helpful and supportive except for Eva from maternity ward...she was rude to me after I gave birth to my son..she goes to work and displayed her township tendencies..is she fired already? If not the hospital will loose patients and their good reputation. EVA must fall..she is extremely rude and belong somewhere.else.

Clear seperation between some of the staff being polite whilst most of the general staff are disrespectful and have a snarky attitude towards others ... (Do note it's on a quiet Saterday) The staff at the entrance to the emergency side especially weren't the best , they were not polite at all . When conducting the screening to enter - it appeared asif they didn't even look at the temperature. And a disregarding attitude. Atleast SOME of the staff inside were more quite polite and helpful , 1 or 2 even greeted first on their own. Overall good service , but not a welcoming place.

I am disgusted with this hospital i ring the bell and after 5min they decide to come and when I tell them iam in pain I get told they just changed shift so I must wait(IN PAIN) then ask the sister/nurse or whatever she is to please help me to get the bed down as its not an electronic bed she says she doesn't know how to she will ask someone to come help ....well that did not happen....oh just over 45min later after ringing the bell a second time, and again waiting for someone to come help, with the bed and give me pain meds. Pinehaven this is a disgrace for a private hospital

Worst hospital. Badly managed with useless, incompetent doctors. Will never set foot in that hospital or recommend anyone go there. Ill stick to life hospitals from now on.
