I had a fantastic visit. Great for both adults and kids. The staff are so lovely and helpful, and always full of smiles.

Amazing natural and anthropological history museum based in Maritzburg. We spent well over 2 hours marveling at the 100-year-old displays from a time when hunting animals for display seemed to be common practice. The museum boasts detailed curated exhibitions from both the animal kingdom and human history. Very clean and well kept. staff are very friendly. Parking is roadside. Access is R15 per adult, not sure the cost for kids and seniors.

Still an amazing venue for a rainy day visit during the holidays. I did, however, note that a lot of the lights need replacing making the exhibits quite dark and not doing their awesomeness justice. The ones in the underwater exhibit are tops.

Oh wow! Immaculately maintained. Moved the history of Mandela. A little bit shy to mention yrs, I used one of those singer sewing machines. Staff polite and helpful. Very inexpensive and educational family outing. Wheelchair access and clean solutions. Well done! It's truly a great experience!

Everytime I visit pietermaritzburg this is my 1st stop even though I've seen everything already, I wish you would do an ancient egyption or titanic exhibition, that would be so exciting

Lovely place to go to. Amazing experience and very cheap entrance fee. Such a variety of animals and excellent taxidermy of the animals. It was a pleasure to come and view this museum.
