A small air-conditioned community venue that can accommodate about 200 people. Good for functions with ample parking space.
It's near home and convenient
This is a barebones community hall, you must arrange your own decor, lighting, and catering. However it is cheap and close by and therefore convenient for small functions if you don't have space at your home. Bookings can be made at the Tongaat council office.
Very neat environment. Perfect for a karate dojo.
Toilets not up to scratch. Side exit doors were locked. No staff had access to keys. Had there been the need to evacuate, there would have been a stampede. There should be back up generators especially with load shedding.
Great place with good views
We are very proud of our community hall. It is generally clean and well maintained with lots of parking. I had my 25th wedding anniversary there in 2010. I see they have now installed airconditioners.
