A little lost surprise piece of history, an absolutely stunning mosque tucked away in the brush of Ladysmith. It was a bit early and the masjid was closed but the feeling of serenity and quint peace was simply spiritual. A real hidden gem in South Africa.

A Historic Structure and one of the oldest buildings in Ladysmith. The mosque has over many years helped and benefited the community second to none. Recent contributors include the late Ismail Lighty Hansa and CS Asmal. The town is definitely more poor these days without these good men.
