Very interesting and lots of valuable, educational information for all. Loved the museum but the trail walk was fairly mundane. Unless you like tortoise there is nothing to be excited about. No cell reception at times. Overall brilliant experience

Very interesting and insightful guide. The tour takes you to the dig site and the guide walks you through the landscape, the history and the fossilized animals in the area. Awesome day out. There is a museum, a restaurant and a gift shop. The museum still has some exhibits under construction but has a beautiful design and very interesting artifacts from the area.
Truly a hidden gem you have to see if you live in the Western Cape or are visiting for holiday. There are open excavations and a awesome little museum to give you greater context. There also is a restaurant and surprising nice gift shop. TAKE THE GUIDED TOUR!!!! Darryl is extremely knowledgable and scientific in his approach to the tour. He covers a wide range of areas such as the scientific, ecology, business and paleontology importance of the area. It was actually exciting to see the open dig sites and to have some one explain the approach to them, while also showing the importance of micro fauna and mega fauna. Drive out there ASAP!
Excellent Place to visit in West Coast. The guide was great, explained the complete Fossil Park and all its history which took us into the tunnel where fossil site was. The museum was very well structured and guidelines around the museum made it easy to walk through and also had a sound interaction room. Great Park!
New museum building looks great. You can visit the original digging site where lots of fossil bones are left intact as nature preserved it. Also have walking and cycling tracks.
Not bad. Though the museum wasn't finished. Great potential and would be enjoyed by tweens.
We visit them for the second time after 4years and we are astonished about they developed. The staff were very well educated and we enjoyed to see the work of our Maker. Its a must to see this wonderful place!
A very interesting place to visit. You can only visit the dig site as part of a guided tour and it is well worth it, the guide we had was knowledgeable and patiently answered our 5 year old's questions. The museum is small but well curated. I recommend going as early in the day as you can because it can get very hot out there during the day almost all year round.
