Learn to Earn is a skills training and job creation not for profit based in Khayelitsha and Hermanus, working with unemployed people from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. With our motto of ‘a hand up - not a hand out’ we seek to develop people especially unemployed people, socially, economically, emotionally and spiritually. Through providing a programme that recognises human dignity and the right to live a meaningful life, we aim to assist individuals to regain their self- respect. Since established in 1989 we have trained over 11 500 unemployed South African in market related skills. Our various initiatives include: The Business Resource Centre, E³, the LtE Association, Ground UP Barista Academy and the feel good Project (a social enterprise partnership with TFG).

The Learn to earn team is friendly from the day you come for course information to classrooms and the teachers and staff. I have done Basic computer course and Miss Nozi is so friendly and she teaches is a way everyone will understand and you really feel like part of the family and there is no way you leave the place without knowledge, I cant even wait for my next course coz they make it so easy to learn. Keep up the great work.
