I had the worst experience at Lovisa at the Mall of Africa branch. The ladies were rude and arrogant to my family and I. When we walked in, they seemed pleasant. That is, until I asked the lady a question about an earring I desired. She opened up the box and checked if the earring was surgical steel or gold plated - Apparently opening the boxes was against the rules, which she did and I thought it was fine since she had done it in front of my sister and I - I later asked her another questions about another specific earring I was looking for - She suggested one. I asked if she could open it to make sure it was the correct measurements. She then started welling “NO WE DO NOT OPEN EARINGS HERE” - I the said “but you just opened one to show me, could you please show me this one” - She continued “NO I NEVER DID THAT.” I could not believe that she lied about opening the earring - raising her voice at me - Drawing the attention of the other customers. She then an argument with me in her shop about wether she opened the box or not! Which she did! The people who work at Lovisa Mall of Africa should be taught to be friendly and patient with their clients. I COULD NOT BELIEVE SHE STARTED AN ARGUMENT, SHOUTING IN THE STORE :/ I would much rather go to Clairs. Clairs might be a bit a bit more expensive but the customer service was outstanding and the lady’s were very friendly and catered to my every need . I will not return to the locust located in Mall of Africa! Worse decision. Never giving these people my money again.

Bad service. Earring piercing not done correctly and they won't fix it only if I pay R200/R300 again. Very crowded and space very small.

The saleswoman didn't know what she was doing, hurt terribly when she pierced my ear and it got infected few days later, had to remove ear rings. Mind you I have 2 other piercings done elsewhere years ago that are still good and no complaints at all. Never again Claire's

The plug for all your accessories at a reasonable price. There's a piece for everyone, regardless of your style and preferences, you'll find what you looking for. They also offer free piercing when you purchase studs or earrings, I'm not sure if they offer nose piercings however
