I just purchased a chicken biryani from Malis Indian Restaurant. When I ordered it they did not ask whether I wanted the meal mild, hot or extra hot. The food was unbearably HOT and spicy. I could not manage to eat it. I wasted R105. Will not purchase food from this restaurant again

Absolutely brilliant. Cosy and well lit. The food was incredible well spiced and tasty. The service was world class, friendly waiter and honestly an all round good experience.

Overpriced! Really just pre-cooked meat & curry sauce. Poor wine list and have a R50 per bottle corkage fee not good place sorry

What an amazing experience!! Definitely a must go again for me. Food quality is superb. Staff is great. Can’t get better. Try the mushroom starters when you’re there. Butter chicken....magnificent.

I wish I could give this restaurant-100. But the food was "good" I ordered a vegetable biryani... I didn't finish my entire dinner so I.... (Like we all do) pack it up for later or breakfast the following morning.... The veg biryani was smells sour and off...the following morning... It has a horrible smell.... The rest of the food was good but not the Veg Briyani... I called the restaurant the following day and spoke to TREVOR the manager.... I explained what happened and was just hoping for an acknowledgement and a sincere apology. I am a vegetarian and have been all my life. TREVOR was so unapologetic and blamed it on me not eating my briyani at the time they put it on the table. But I was having a glass of wine and having a smoke outside with my husband.. I explained to TREVOR that it would be impossible for my food to go rotten in such a short space in time. TREVOR became extremely rude and defensive... I asked to speak to the owner....But he gave me a false number which went to voicemail on many tries. TREVOR whom is the "manager" refused to give me the owner's name or any contact number.... I was absolutely flabbergasted in which the manner was addressed or resolved. All I requested was an apology. Nothing else.... My Bill at the end of the night was over R1000.00 Sorry.... By bill doesn't reflect the total amount.... I am also requesting the owner's details, which have still not been forwarded to me.

Merely average food taste. Looks good, but the taste does not live up to expectations
