Very nice campsite to stay! It looked good and clean, we felt very safe and it's not expensive. We payed 100 rand per person per night. There's a braaiplace, there's a kitchen you can use. Very good.

The Place is pleasant and clean. Pity about the TV not working and leaving Early was a big challenge. Eventually left the keys hanging on the gate for the owner to find. Hope she found them. The service was great.
Wanted to take a chance on this place despite the bad reviews . Backpackers side was decent , room was clean . Shared kitchen /bathroom areas were filthy though. Dirty dishes piled up, soiled pool table ... when the eating area isn’t clean, it puts a bad taste in my mouth.... luckily our electricity was out in our room so we got a free upgrade to a self contained hut with a kitchen and own bathroom. This was cleaner but it was still falling apart a bit and didn’t have soap for the dishes . If I had paid more I wouldn’t have been happy . Family owned place and owner was really busy with cooking dinner when we arrived , so checking in was a big rush . Friendly people but judging by the cleanliness and rushed check in, more staff could definitely be used
Stay away!!! Double booking, blocked drain, door that is stuck, burst geyser, mattresses on the stoep as you come in, electricity trips when you boil the kettle........Some of the problems we experienced at our 6 chalets/rondavels. The gardens are well kept. Thank you for the braai wood and the name board is quite impressive. But there it stops.
It is sad to know that there is still such bad places to stay such as this. The backpackers chalets are really bad. No fan, no chairs, door literally falling apart, bearing in mind we are in malaria country... the ablutions are not even usable... they are homes for hornets, huge black beetles and huge numbers of grasshoppers, not to mention flocks of mosquitos.... sorry, but this gets a zero in my score. AND price is not cheap for one night.
Very good quality for the price you pay. The chalet we stayed in was clean, with fresh towels and adequate bedding. There is a kettle and microwave in the chalet as well. Small TV though, with poor reception, but that was not a problem for us.
Very basic camping site, but nice walking on the farm
Terrible dirty. Got home after dinner at 10. 15pm and couldn't get in the gate. I will not EVER STAY here ever again
