What an amazing afternoon for the whole family, from the kiddies to the Grandparents. The guided tour was great, with lots of informative tidbits and fun facts. The underground boat ride was definitely the highlight, but the kids couldn't be torn away from the interactive displays at the museum either. Good value for money and I highly recommend this as a great educational yet entertaining family outing!

Human Origins and indepth presentation of the Human Race Evolution. The Educational presentation quality makes one feel a PhD achiever after the visit. Better part the kids will be thrilled and granny's will surely get lost. I'm hindsight this Family Friendly place with satisfy the visual and intellectual taste buds of all ages ️️️

Fantastic... Underground boat ride - Maropeng! The high-tech museum with interesting interactive displays. We have enjoyed underground boat ride that symbolically starts at the present time, going back in time through the most important stages of the Earth creation. Feel the frost of the ice-age, find out how the world was submerged in water, go back to the formation of the Earth’s crust and walk through the ‘Time Vortex’ – the emblem of the absolute beginning. Wonderful!!!

Very insightful museum, great staff. I loved the place, beautiful views and peace of mind here. Depending your beliefs, the information may conflict with you. Nonetheless it’s nice as a tourist to see this knowledgeable heritage site. Great for dates, families or even solo (like myself). ATM and Small food shop on site.
