My son loves it here, we don't miss a class! He adores his coach and Master. I am so amazed by the improvement in my son's physical development and motor skills, and the better ratings his kindergarten report cards also notes it. But what they are teaching him goes far beyond the great physical skills. The improvement in his discipline, following of instructions and listening skills is also remarkable. I am so confident that I always choose the option to pay for the year in advance, and it comes with a considerable discount. I will never regret my decision of enrolling my son when here when he was 3. And I look forward to the rest of the journey with them. I can highly recommend Master West's Karate Wierda Park. Thank you guys for the positive impact on Mike's life.

The Weirda Park branch is very poor when it comes to customer relations. They do not know how to talk to customers at all. They become very defensive as soon as you raise a concern. My child was bullied there I raised it but the coach outright denied it, instead of saying he'll have a talk with the kids and remind them of the rules regarding hard contact. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants proper training and discipline for their kid. 2nd point, I was concerned with their type of training as my kids was doing all the basics incorrectly and no one stopped him to show him how to do it properly. When i raised this they told me, your son is not going to become Bruce lee, this is not a hardcore gym(whatever that means).

I was going to join the classes. When I asked if they only do debit orders. This the response I got : Hi yes, otherwise we don't get our money, we have 10 academies and we don't have time to babysit everybody's payments!. I don't think have to be that abrupt. A yes and reason will have been fine . I did not be told so abruptly don't babysit payments.

My son joined Master West's Karate at the beginning of 2017. Both pre and primary schools had been complaining about his poor core strength, affecting his school work and confidence. After almost a year of training the difference has been phenomenal. His core strength is no longer behind but ahead for his age, his confidence and co-ordination has drastically improved amongst other things as well. Coach Stephan does an amazing job and serves as a great role model to all the kids who enjoy training under him. Thank you Master West and Team for the great work!

I have had 2 children in Master Wests Academy, my daughter 10yrs ago and now my son. I could not have made a better choice we love it here. They continuously motivate the children by often grading and having competitions the children dont get bored. It is also a very fair academy there are no favorites each child has there own abilities and the coach sees it in that way. I love it here at Master West and i will keep my son part of there family as long as i can cause thats what it is it is a family.
